Can we just agree that solo ranked matchmaking sucks

Ranks are completely meaningless yet it is the only thing that Riot provides us with that we have to gauge ourselves. Show us our mmr and allow that to be something for which we strive. A person can be a certain rank but not actually be that rank because they are higher or lower than the avg. mmr of said rank. Just have an mmr ladder that people move up and down or match people of the same rank. Pitting plat 5s against silver 1s - whether or not they have similar mmrs - shows how stupid the ranking ladder is. RANK DON'T MEAN SHIT!

Just assume every thing below Diamond 1 is a lucky Bronze player, that was able to pass up other Bronze players.

Solo Queue is by far the worse experience. I'm shocked when I have a reasonable quality game there. They should have never brought it back.

Normal draft is really bad, too. I just played a game where my team was gold (I'm plat), and the enemy team had a Master jungler with a Silver bot lane to "balance" it out.

Their matchmaking in general is pretty garbage.

It's not just solo ranked draft.

SOLO sucks. Almost all of the game's strategy has been raised beyond that of the individual player to the whole of the game. It's no longer a strategic decision on what item you will buy to better emphasize a specific type of trading against your lane.

It's about who picked the more powerful champion, the better team comp, and the most counter picks.

Literally all of the strategy in the game can be participated in, without actually playing the game.
