Evasiveness.

It's really easy to pin down and execute a Kog'maw. Anyone with a gap closer can do it. It's far harder to pin down a Vayne. She's constantly Tumbling around, going in and out of stealth, and is very fast, making it nearly impossible to land lockdown spells on her (or damage spells for that matter).

Why would kog care to be evasive when he can just chill in the back of his team and be protected by braum/lulu/janna whils still being able to participate in fighting because of his superior range. no one ever even trys to protect a vayne, why you pick vayne your on your own.

Well, do you trust your teammates going into champ select?

If so, sure go kog, and rely on their peel as you sit in the back and melt faces. If on the other hand you have more faith in your #bigplays than your team, than go vayne.

In solo queue I don't think one is necessarily worse than the other.

Because while it is fun to watch your enemies slowly melt in front of you, Vayne just feels more epic to play with her super spy tumbling and stuff.

I know that vayne is way more fun to play but as it is not within the game kog is just vayne on steroids, hes not just a tank killer he kills everything with his on hit effects.

Kog does a bunch of magic damage, so if you're already magic damage heavy you may want to lean towards vayne if those are your choices.

Although as far as I can tell from my ranked play today, the choices are actually caitlyn or lucian.
