Wtf is wrong with ranked placements.

Im playing with diamonds and plats my entire flex ranked 10 placements, win 6 in a row then lose the last 4.

MMR for last 5 matches are anywhere from 1895-1720(mid plat - mid gold mmr), and i get placed in SILVER 1???

are you kidding me?!?!

Not one player i played with the entire placements was in silver, i really dont understand this match making system.

Fucking joke tbh. how can u justify putting someone in silver1 when they play against diamonds and plats during every game since placements start.

Silver 1 MMR is 1350-1409... dont place me in silver 1 if you are going to give me mmr 1720-1895 to play against.

I dont even want the extra chroma for a champ im never gonna play, i farmed out of silver 1 to p5 in under 75 games this season on solo, i just want my PLACEMENT IN RANKED to be JUSTIFIED by the ACTUAL MMR IM PLAYING IN.

For reference i went to your OP.GG and you were losing to teams full of gold 5s with negative win rates in solo Q and you lost to multiple people who are silver/gold V in flex. actually almost everyone you played against in those games was low gold in flex. I'm gonna guess op.gg MMR numbers are off for flex.

My last 4 games are losses in flex, all the other games EXCEPT FOR ONE i have been winning in solo.

So you are looking at the wrong op.gg or just STRAIGHT LYING.

You're looking at their Solo Ranks, which is what OP.GG defaults to showing. You have to click their profiles to see their Flex Ranks, which will be much closer to what Riot uses for matchmaking.

2 games enemy team had ONE gold5 player each. while i have unranked, silver 1, and a g5 player IN ONE GAME ON MY TEAM...

But im still trying to understand why im playing vs plats and gold(flex rank their solo rank is generally higher) and i get silver 1 placement.

Lol i had a 60% wr in solo last weekend then i lost like 10 games out of 12 because of some very tragic unlucky teammates - then i tilted and fed myself. I def think they got some system to keep you at 50% wr.

I actually saw a miracle that I have rarely seen ever this season. I got to Promos and Nobody AFKed or inted on either side. And imagine that, I won all the games.

But for real, they do need to address placement rankings. Not only does it place you in odd ways, but also the games are often not quality. I have had seasons where I placed Gold to start, and Bronze to start and a lot of it depended on what random team I landed on. This season I had 4 games where one of my team mates went AFK, 2 games where I had the same Draven run it up mid (Rito even sent the message that action was taken on his account for it). So I only had 4 games that I even had a decent chance to win and I got B1 placed (Although I did not play ranked S7). Had a buddy who won the majority of his games and placed B3 when he was Gold the previous season. I got screwed over and still somehow started higher than him.....With all the dumb stuff in ranked I stopped playing ranked in S7 after playing since S2. Barely played at all in S8, and honestly I don't feel any need to play it in S9.

OPGG is terrible when it comes to its MMR numbers. They're little more than a wild guess.
