Finding My Main, I just can't seem to stick to one champ

I just for some reason can not find one champion that I want to main. There's just too many that I love to play for various reasons. One day I'll figure I'll play maybe Shen, but I'll end up playing Malphite. Or I'll want to play Kha'Zix in the jungle first, but then choose Rek'Sai because I like that eternum skin and I still do well. Not amazing, but well enough. Cough Dying to blue golem cough

But, how do you all suggest I go about finding my true main? Like I said, there's so many champions that I love to play, but I'm not amazing at any of them. Like the jack of all trades, master of none. I'm so indecisive when coming to champ select that I guess that's one part of it, because I don't want to be stuck as one champion I have a feeling I wont have fun with in that game. Then I think about it in game like, "man, I could really use Shen's block ability facing this Darius," and regret it.

Mostly, I find that I tend to stick to certain champions. Lately I've enjoyed playing Shen, Rek'Sai once in a blue moon, Twitch, or Cho'Gath. I rarely go mid because well, Im not the best with any of the mages though I've been wanting to try Talon or Zed out.

But yeah, any suggestions on finding a main?

you can either try them all or just see if a champion please you with the splash art. It's like doing shopping. If at first glare you find something you like, try it :)

I'm kind of like you. I can't stick to playing one champ again and again.

My advice to you would be to not main a champ but main a role. You seem to like jungle so set up your champ pool with atleast 4 champs in the least likely possible case that 3 of them get banned.

Honestly dont just have one main if that isnt your thing. I used to have mains but after they reworked ryze... my button mashing was ruined. I mained Ziggs for awhile and still have a good winrate with him. But for me I love bursty tanks so now I go for Gragas, Graves(his build is rather tanky ) and Poppy. Learning malphite atm but you dont need a main champ but I would recommend a main role or subset like offtank or assassin. So that way you get really good at a specific role and learn matchups just the same. I think its silly to main just one champ because I literally would only play ziggs. It helps to learn matchups but not much about the game itself. Jung helps a lot because you learn so much about the needs of every role in my opinion. So dont actually main 1 champ main a specific role like sustained damage dealer for example Jax Fiora Irelia XinZhao MasterYi Renekton Trundle Warwick all of these fit into several roles but still follow a similar point and click playstyle that is constant damage over time to kill and mostly duel an opponent. But over all these champs fit into top lane and some jungle, with variances in support and even mid. So you get the best of almost everything but still play a small enough set of champs to know a lot about when to all in, power spikes, etc.. Hope this helps

Well it took me a longggg time, but basically you have to think about what you are good at and what you enjoy. Not just champions but play style.. For me, i like initiating, having some damage, and maybe the ability to build like a bruiser if need be. And Rengar just fits all that. I can Start a fight, I can do good damage, i can build tanky and fight out a long team fight if i need to. Its what i like to do.. I use to main Lee Sin, but i couldnt carry far enough into the late game.
