Any tips as playing Jayce?

Learn to switch at proper times, remember that your W passive in hammer form gives mana back on AAs and your E displacement can allow for some good plays.

I need Jayce tips too. Lately I've found that I just can't harass enemies well enough early on, and I can't fend off melees mid game. Lategame is fine for me because I can poke and my team can support me.

I feel like Quinn can poke much better as an AD top laner and Urgot is just a safer and more reliable AD mid laner, so I don't know when to use Jayce.

• Go into hammer form whenever possible to restore mana
• In ranged form, q then e
• Try to go for quick tlord procs by using w
• Use e wisely, for example against darius, knock him out of the handle range on his q so it won't hit you

Stay in ranged form for combat, unless 1. You're finishing someone off -and- know they don't have any way to escape -and- you know you won't be peeled by enemy teammates. 2. You're just trying to escape yourself and need the knockback. 3. Doing a quick ability rotation in lane for harass, only really worth the mana if you're going tear build. Off the top of my head, main people who can give you a hard time top lane are Renekton and Irelia. Irelia moreso, since she's pretty much the only person in the game that can force you into a fight. The way to play against them is the same--you gotta respect them. If you can't harass safely, then just farm, maybe get off a few shockblasts when they go for last hits.

Don't think too much about using W on both forms. Literally just use those abilities whenever they're up. When I started playing Jayce I was kinda intimidated by the amount of abilities he had and how he used them so often. Overtime I just realized that his W ability is pretty much just spam off CD when in fights.
