So is it me or does anyone else think the whole reporting system is a joke and needs to be reworked? Everytime I have a semi bad game, like playing a new hero or something, I get reported. If I dare say anything, for example, telling JG to please gank more bot so vayne doesnt scale, I get reported. People just report for the hell of it. I dont think I have even played a single game in the last 6 months where people have not been telling everyone to report someone.
The worst part is, you have players passing judgement and getting 14 day bans for stuff like that. Ive been called the N word, all kinds of things. Now those are some reasons to report and ban. Not silly stuff like this. Everyone has bad games, I cant believe there is even a option to report someone for "unskilled player". I mean cmon, really? Sure we all hate losing when were grouped with players that are just terrible, but everyone has to learn sometime. That is just stupid to have that option. Its my understanding that players sign up to be part of the tribunal? This is the stupidest thing ever. You have a bunch of kids/people passing judgement on others.. Like this isnt going to be abused? People get off on screwing others over all the time. Im sure there are tons of people sitting behind their computers laughing as they judge others and ban em or whatever. I dont know the details, maybe thats not exactly how it works but thats what I was told, if that is the case, its the stupidest thing ive ever hear. You need an admin doing it. The whole reporting system should be re-worked.
I get just as many positive teamworks of friendlys every game, but still catch a 14 day ban? I dont get it. Im dead serious, every game I play, someone on one team or the other is telling everyone to report so and so just cause they die 3 times in a row. I know its frustrating but I sucked when I first started, its no reason to report people and get them banned.
Please Riot, think about this stupid system and do something to fix it. There are PLENTY of people EXTREMELY more toxic then me saying JG needs to gank bot more so vayne doesnt scale, as she was working bot lane hard. He just didnt like to be told anything. In fact the other guy was flaming him hard, I wasnt even flaming, unless you consider that... Its a joke...

some folks don't like being told or even suggested on how to play a game.

but yeah, unskilled makes no sense being in there.

Although I can see it being of some use for ranked games as it will place the player in question with noobier noobs that tryhard/feed at their level of competence.

(lol, want noobier noobs? go play during sessions when school's out.)

Unskilled player report doesn't do anything, it's only purpose is to create a placebo effect for people that are frustated by someone's performance. Currently the tribunal is also offline. You mentioned you received a 14-day ban? Mind to share your reform card so people can discuss the severity of the ban and have a more objective view of your chat.

I' m glad I finaly find someone else who thinks this is a problem. The only thing the reports for being an unskilled player is acomplishing is more hate on the rift! Another thing that makes this part of the reporting system so usless is that the peopple you play with usually have a different rank/lvl than yours. So unskilled compared to who?
