This is a build that revolves around maxing Amumu's W first and healing an incredible amount in team fights.

Summoners: summoner 11 summoner 4

Runes: Primary: Resolve: Aftershock -> Font of Life -> Second Wind -> Revitalize Secondary: Domination: Taste Blood -> Ravenous Hunter Slot1: Adaptive Force Slot2: Adaptive Force Slot3: Bonus Health

Skill Priority: R -> W -> E -> Q

Build Against AP Heavy: item 1413 -> item 3111 -> item 3001 -> item 3065 -> item 3151 -> item 3116

Build Against AD Heavy: item 1413 -> item 3047 -> item 3075 -> item 3151 -> item 3065 -> item 3116

My Standard Path:

item 1401 -> item 3047 -> item 3151 -> item 3001 -> item 3065 -> item 3083

With this build you want to get as many stacks of ravenous hunter as soon as possible because its fundamental to this build. With this build Amumu can solo rift, dragon, and even baron easily the moment they spawn. Also make sure you keep W on as long as you can in fights. In a team fight you probably wont die with this build.

I'd still get armor runes, in at least slot 3 if not slots 2 and 3. Amumu double dips on the value of armor, since his E passive is post-mitigation, flat reduction. (100 damage while at 200 armor reduces it to 33 physical damage, which is then reduced to 24. 200 damage at 100 armor is reduced to 100, which is then reduced to 91 physical damage.)

In a way, it outclasses the healing he could be getting from any amount of AP, and results in a higher health clear. I'm interested to see what kind of heal numbers i could get with this though, and how it fares in a -- Well, counterjunglers dont exist in my games.
