Just going to leave the summary of yes I am salty from losing a game because I had a first time Kayle top and a person playing Yuumi. What does Yuumi offer because from what I can tell its absolutely nothing, her abilities aren't even worth the champion, they arent effective, her cc is terrible. like just take it back jesus christ.
I agree she doesn’t bring anything new to the game or is as effective as other supports.

Yuumi offers players a chance to play a kitten named "Yummy" that sits on people's heads, and she's gonna sell a ton of skins; just watch and wait.
I'm not playing ranked today. Apparently numbers are out she is 29% winrate which is the new record for being the lowest winrate.
All she is currently capable of is actually hurting the priority of the ADC. if your ADC reports you in ranked playing Yuumi, you should not be surprised at this point.
Uh.. I think I'm in the minority here but Yuumi is awesome when played offensively. Too many ppl not making use of her shield/hop to poke or bait opponents into bad positioning. Too many heal bots forcing adcs to solo lane is causing the low win rate. She is gona be rely good in coordinated teams.

The only problem really is that she has no real hard CC except her ultimate, which is too slow for this ridiculous meta. She does not provide enough pressure because of this and early game low damage. Otherwise, she has a lot of potential. Just... ya know... The game provides incentives for being horribly bad at tactics and punishes tactical play so she is a champion out of place.
Sigh, she was my supp and she followed me and it felt like i was solo bot and i never got kills or got to farm cuz she was just purring shielding and throwing a random magic missile around
Just remove this things her q cant be dodge and can spam it i prefer to play against a panth as sona than against this !
She's horribly under tuned atm, and she lacks any real utility to make up for her shitty numbers.
actually you lack creativity of her kit instead of comparing copy-cat (pun) abilities of other champs into her kit. shes the only champ that can untarget herself and latch onto a ally her main job can be actually many things ranging from adc (if you get enough practice you can definitely get your damage across as AD) or AP (being a combat lichbane type with ludens echo full burst while also protecting herself with allies) soraka playstyle (maximize them heals) theres more but one more i know of is... maximum support auto turret style on a carry get a hextech item (your choice) twin shadows 
(if you wanted to slow them) finally a 
now put in glacial augment. yeah theres alot of choices she can do things rakan and sona cant do safely without boots.
