Jungle Champ diversity

It's a bit frustrating when you have to play Champs you dont necesarily enjoy to be competitive. Everyone talks bout "OP" champs and mains them to stay in competitive gaming leaving others who dont necesarily play with the Meta "OP" champs completely out of the thrill of enjoying the game. Rito where's your champion diversity if your meta limits what champs you can use? Where is the reward for maining High skill cap champs like Elise while J4 takes you down with less effort and skill cap? where is the "balance"? Please make sure that next time you nerf a champ you actually balance the champ instead of trashing it for people who enjoy the champ leaving it useless against the "OP" Meta champs.

IDK about you, but i've always stayed true to who/what i liked to play.

I main shaco. Even when no one liked him. Every time i picked him i'd get the comments saying "OMFG WE LOST", "GG IT'S A SHACO".

But hey, i climbed. From silver 5 in season 3 to Plat 2 now. I played who i like, I win against "OP"champs. I win against counter picks (Lee sin).

Bottom line, don't feel like you HAVE to play those champions to win(Althogh those might make winning easier). Any champions can win :)

It does when you have a limite usefullness. By no means I think of shaco as being weak he is more of nightmare to go against back in season 4 and today him and Eve freak me out cuz you never know where they might Appear. Not everyone likes to properly ward to get vision since you only have one purple ward is a 50/50 chance you scape their ganks wihout a summonner spell if you are playing mid.

I exclusively play Rengar, Sejuani, and Wukong in the jungle.

I don't like playing JarvanIV, Lee Sin, and Vi, so I don't.

The jungle is far, far, far to strong to be inclusive. Currently, its balanced around lee-sin and smite; which means you need: Innate durability Innate sustain AoE damage And mobility +smite

Just to jungle well.

It pushes out off meta junglers like vayne, nautlus, zac, or any AP jungler.

I enjoy playing Nautilus and Zac. There's also a Challenger fellow who mains Zac jungle. Also, pretty sure Nidalee and FIddlesticks are AP junglers who function just fine at all Elo's.

And just you wait until people find out about Diana jungle.

I enjoy playing nautilus as well (zac isnt worth the 6.3K...) Fiddlesticks jungle is dead, so dead. And nidalee jungle is AD or hybrid.

AP Nidalee is better in every position except Top, and even then AP can still be useful.

Slow clap Good for you. I dont see AP nid jungle because the nid jungles I SEE are farmers and FoW harassers.

15/20 nid junglers ive seen have built hybrid pen, bruiser, or full AD.

umm Nidalee jungle is so much better full AP than AD. item 3708 item 3165 item 3157 item 3135 item 3089 item 3259 max cdr + high damage spears and cougar kills. You also clear really fast just with (starting human form) W>Q>R>W>E>Q>R>Q>R>W>E>Q where you don't even really need to auto after you finish your jungle item's enchant (most times you don't even need that full combo).

Also Fiddlesticks Jungle isn't "Dead" It just isn't as good as someone like Jarvan who can clear faster and who's team fight/ganks aren't entirely reliant on his Ulti for damage.

I've always mained the same champions, adding in a few more as they get released if I enjoy them, and I will never play Lee or J4 regularly cause I find them both ridiculously boring. Does this gimp me? Most likely, yes, and that's the problem.

So yes, I agree with you.... mostly. I don't think they nerfed Elise too hard as you seem to be alluding too, cause she's not the only struggling jungler by far, but they need to either nerf the jungle so certain jungle champs who can barely jungle can once again be effectively played or nerf J4 and Lee so other junglers can at least compete.

I know they'll never actually nerf Lee cause everytime they do the "Lee fan community" rages up a storm and just cries none stop until they revoke their proposed ideas, but I hope they at least nerf J4. The Tanky assassin fighter engaging duelist with some of the best jungle clears and ganks NEEDS to be brought down a peg or two.

Well to tell you the truth I only play Elise when I jungle and lategame you literally cant do much you lack damage (tank) or you are too squishy(AP) . But she is one of the mos enoyable champs in my league of legends experience. I started playing her seriously and kinda maining Elise in late season IV. So no I didnt get to play the "OP" Elise. She's probably more viable than many others champs in the league of legends dumster. Still why make a 100 and so champs if only 10 work in the meta and other 10 are kinda iffy. I understand that balance is hard to keep but trashing any champ be it Elise or any other champ is not the point of actual balance. Being able to win or lose a game by skill diference or by a better team doesnt really matter if you know that you did your best and enjoyed your picked champ.
