Advice for late game pantheon

So. Long story short a few years back I bought pantheon and fell instantly in love. Played him every game, every lane. didn't matter my opponent (in my eyes pantheon had no counter, i know now that he does because i ain't complete trash no mo. (still trash) (went from bronze V to silv V in a season and hopefully 8 I can get higher)) however I noticed myself drawing away from him and ever since yoricks rework I haven't touched him, even so, he's still in my top 3 most played champions and i've only played yorick more. I wanna get back into him cause I really enjoy him but I definitely have a LOT trouble with his dreaded late game (Which is why I stopped playing him), can I get some tips to make it a bit easier to survive and do stuff late? I really wanna get back into him

Really the goal is to snowball your team to a late game position well before your opponents get there. You start out by killing everything that moves and turn those kills into towers, dragons, and the rift herald for even more towers. Get an early inhibitor if you can, and make sure to leave farm for your ADC and Mid so they don't fall behind. Pantheon snowballs hard, but that snowball can lose you the game if you forget to spread the gold across your team once you are rolling.

You want to either end the game before the enemy team reaches their late game power spike, or put the enemy team far enough behind that your entire team hits their late game spike first. If the worst happens and you end up in a late game vs late game situation you should either split push if your team is coordinating with you to pressure multiple objectives at once, or trade some items for more tank and just become a brawler who can peel for your other carries.

As far as I’ve heard people have always had different variations on how to play Pantheonn within the mid to late game.

But two of the most common things I’ve heard is:

  1. Playing around your ultimate, just use it to constantly pick out people in wrong positions and then “pick” your way to victory.

  2. Kind of the same, but this time chill in a side lane and wait until a fight breaks out then join with your ultimate.
