I stand behind this 100%. A lot of the more well-known pros or streamers are afraid of speaking up and out against the game they play for their income.
In truth, League doesn’t have to incessantly fester in this state in the way it did throughout the distasteful Ardent meta. It feels lately as though Riot has more narrow/narrow-minded goals and funnels in on achieving said goals, without fully considering potential outcomes or ways chasing said goals could negatively impact their game.
It more or less leaves me with the impression that they’re in pursuit of a selfish and personal desire and ignoring the possibility of manipulating something for the (objective) long-term health of the game.
And while yes, we’re aware Rioters have internal discourse revolving around balance and game design(ideally), the changes and lasting effects often cause it to appear as though it’s a single individual dictating every major lasting change.
Turrets can, honestly, be strong without being overbearing. Just look at DotA2. The way their turrets work is they have high attack speed, relatively low damage, and a large attacking range. Their turrets will actually keep attacking for around double their targeting range; its super punishing if youre slow, and the damage they do adds up.
Double leagues turret attack speed at all stages, make them deal more damage to minions (except cannon minions), and give ALL towers 1% missing health HP regen when out of combat, HP regen can scale with game time, like 1% per 5 minutes after 20 minutes.
