Greetings mates!
Last season I spammed Jinx and Caitlyn to Gold 5. However, playing support feels better for me. As of now, I've played Nami, Taric, Sona and Zyra support. I am wondering what is a good support(s) to play this season! I don't really enjoy the tank supports like Braum and Leona, but I attribute that to me just not playing them.
Some supports I have considered are Zilean, Karma, Lulu and Janna. Opinions? Recommendations? -Marilyn

Most supports I see are just brands or zyra's If zyra wants to put plants out then veigar can just farm ap off them and when he hit's level 6 he gets that ult that can kill people pretty easily or secure the kill off those annoying brands. His stun Is really useful for people wanting to 4 man dive as it can separate them and the 2 of you can pick them off.

Janna and karma are really always just the top tier for supports and a must have, nami is cosistently good and im partial to her because she has everything in her kit to help the team and adc out no matter the situation.

Karma has strong damage and her shield and snare can be good. But her main style is to harass the enemy bot lane with her Q and Mantra'd Q.

IMO the necessary champions you should at least learn are Janna, Thresh, Nami, and Alistar. Covers all your bases pretty well besides damage and they're all pretty easy to pick up.
You can swap Alistar for Taric if you would rather have shields and heals than absurd tank power, he's not very difficult either and is very strong as a defensive pick.
