Favourite Sylas Keystone?

I just got Sylas and tried him out in a couple custom games with my friend to test his interactions, and find a build I like. I found out stealing Ashe ult is totally busted, once I even stole it from her and just one-shot her right away with it. Also I found out big Sylas is hot. I tried out Grasp, and that felt awful even though it said it did a lot in the post-game stats. Then I tried Phase Rush, and that felt AWESOME, but I don't know how useful it actually was, and how much of that was my changed basic runes.

What keystone do you like taking, and why?

I've tried a few on him.

Electrocute seemed the most consistent. It helps his weak early game and makes him a threat.

Dark Harvest really doubles down on the late game. He's already a late game champ who loves teamfights, and Dark Harvest just accentuates this.

Arcane Comet gives him fantastic poke on his Q, but pretty much nothing else.

Phase Rush was fun and made it a lot easier to get in, get my damage in, and get out against a ranged champion, but the damage felt rather lacking.

I tried Glacial Augment as a meme, and it's so much fun, but probably not that good. Your sticking power is just insane between the slow, your Q, W, and E. No one will ever get away from you, and you can build things like GLP, Twin Shadows, even Gunblade to just perma-slow the enemy team. Combine with Rylai's to be even more insufferable. It might work if you're going tanky/support.

Klepto is by far the best against melees and electrocute is best against ranged.

I like aftershock in certain matchups, but if they avoid your skillshot E2 you're basically fighting without a keystone.

Sylas with after shock shield bash second wind and revitalize as main tree and sudden impact and ravenous hunter on his second tree, start ring and pot or shield and pot, rush sheen huge power spike, build ludens finish lich bane boots ninja tabi or Merc treads. SV, randuins, Zhonyas hour glass. This build plays to his w and e which are pretty much the strongest part of his entire kit, makes you pretty tanky deals good damage and you have max cdr not to mention the panic button of hourglass.

Aftershock should be the clear answer, but from my experience....... it doesn't help near as much as an offensive damage buff. He does fine in solo trades, so aftershock isn't needed. In team fights, Aftershock just isn't enough to survive.

If you want to be an early monster: Electrocute

If you want to actually have a lategame without relying on the enemy having an AoE CC Nuke Ult: Aftershock.
