Why is Poppy able to deal with Yorick better than Nasus

This was not the case with old Yorick. Nasus used to be able to haphazardly stack his ghouls to oblivion. How on earth do you lane against him now?

Yorick, as of now is a dual god after 6. Percent health added on top of his sheen procced Q.

Poppy can take Yorick early. Although her kit is very cc into oblivion. But after 6, she'll have troubles. The chances of a Yorick saving their maiden to start 1v1s, although low, is still existent.

Nasus is all about late game. So his laning phase against Yorick is difficult. Since Yorick, now with a Spirit Visage, is healing that 200 stack q you just used on him. But suddenly he spawned his maiden and now you're also taking 6% of your health in damage, on top of that q healing,

Yorick himself can actually force his minions to despawn by walking far enough away. It's an easy way of harassing Nasus, who also has no gap closers while Yorick has 2, while reducing the amount of stacks Nasus can achieve per set of ghouls.

Kill him. Trade around his Ghouls.

The theory was that Nasus would be able to stack his q against the old Yorrick Ghouls. In practice though, it was a lot harder than one would think. A Yorrick could engage and punish that Nasus the moment he tried to get a stack or wait until Nasus already q'd. Was surprised the first time I played Yorrick into Nasus. The Nasus was stomped.

At level 6 prerework she could almost do whatever she wanted because of her ult lol

Post re-work, poppy will dash into the face of almost any toplaner and start fighting them with barely any struggle.

Proc passive and pick it up, proceed to fight more. back off, proc passive again, smack some face.

Someone like a nasus is not able to mess with that during laning phase, or yorick... but yorick is a... skill matchup to an agressive poppy to say, in a way
