My problem with Ivern (personal experience)

So this is both kind of my fault and the status majority feel of this champion. I love this guy. I learned him on some custom games, played one norm, and carried. After practicing a bit more on customs (I had leavebuster so it was faster this way), I decided I was ready for ranked. My first game with him went great, and I performed pretty good. However, the blame of the loss we ended with was on Ivern. Next game, we threw, blame on Ivern. Lastly, I helped get syndra fed in mid, but we threw the game. The blame was on Ivern.

I fully understand that this guy requires alot of skill to play and get right, and I make some mistakes which I notice (commonly a late ult). However, most of my losses are just on Ivern. I don't know if it's just me, but it kinda feels like when Taliyah was released, when people just didn't like how underpowered she felt. Ik I didn't go into alot of detail, and I'm not raising any arguments or anything. I'll understand the dislikes if I get any since it might be just my skill, but alot of people seem to have such low expectations for this guy.

Sorry if I didn't really explain this well. Im pretty exhausted when I typed this. Ivern

Skill? Ivern presses R early/mid game and afk's, his fucking summon will solo and entire team for days.

I think hes fine as he is. People are used to the carry jungler meta. Ivern is not a carry jungler. He's high utility, he feels weak because he takes tons of skill and his use comes in what things he can do and not raw damage. Don't do a repeat of Taliyah "Shes so weak/lackluster" then overbuff then almost(she got spared) nerf into the ground. Leave him as is, give it a few weeks when people get more experience it should be alot better.

Ivern is a supportive control jungler. These champions enpowers teammates without being noticed, and is greatly reliant on the teammate's performance. when the teammate is doing poorly it will look like the support jungler is useless, thus the blame game.

another example of this type of jungler is Nunu.

and supports always get blamed, support junglers too.
