Why is kalista being left in a terrible spot?

It shouldn't take that long to identify that the ridiculous amount of nerfs you slammed on her in one patch were way too much.

She performs almost the worst in almost every aspect compared to any other adcs.

it takes games 40 minutes for her win rate to even out to 50% and she has a 41% win rate if a game is 0-25 minutes.

I know statistics don't show everything and that for some champions it's ok to have a slightly under average win rate because of complexity or a learning curve, but it's clear Kalista was nerfed way too hard and needs some buffs to be a viable pick in bot lane again.

EDIT: The only argument I can see is people have biased playing against her or using LCS statistics to justify nerfs, neither of which are valid.

She was still 70% pbr during the lcs spring finals. Won over half the games.

Sad that this is so heavily downvoted. The nerfs weren't effective because she's still good in team play, but gutted in solo queue. Why is this ok? Needs more of a rework than more nerfs

Because she's still good in competitive play. It's the same reason Nidalee is getting nerfs even though she does pretty meh in ranked.

She was nerfed because she's got an obscenely overloaded kit with free mobility for days. No other champion can kite like she can, and against many champions, if she's not nerfed, she can essentially invalidate their existence. Her creator, CertainlyT, has been the father of almost every cancerous champion in recent years (Darius, Zed, to name a few) and if they aren't cancerous at this moment, they were absolutely ridiculous on release (Thresh, Zyra, Yasuo). So that's why she's nerfed so hard now, because her kit has too much going on to simply hit small portions and hope the rest come into line.

Because having what is effectively smite#2 for objectives is a massive advantage for a team with communication.

Because that isn't a terrible spot for Kalista, she's still extremely popular in pro play.

Kalista is a high input, high complexity champion that requires a lot of practice and skill to bring out her potential.

Frankly, Kalista with a winrate of 50% is downright toxic to the game, she should never be in a state where players can just pick her up and win without bothering to learn her intricacies when she has the potential to have such ridiculously high agency over the game.
