Potential 4th Keystone for Domination path.

#First of all let me tell you the reason I posted this seemingly random suggestion.

I have seen talk on the boards that we are looking into potentially releasing more runes (4th keystone per path) instead of just changing the current ones and making a mess.

This will be done to accommodate champions that relied on masteries like Fervor and DFT or don't really have something that fits them well in the current rune system.

Now I will present my suggestion for a "new" domination Keystone:

https://i.gyazo.com/f279c1c5cec93181d4751048414e01a3.png The Brutalizer (too soon?)

30sec CD after duration is over Damaging champions charges up your brutality up to 100%. Once charged it empowers your with a buff and grants "Brutal Strike":
Brutal strike - (will benefit the First damage spell or AA you use)

    • 15% Armor and Magic pen (benefits spell/AA and bonus dmg from missing HP)
    • 15% Missing Health DMG for AA/single target spell and +10% Missing HP DMG for AoE spell (The % missing HP DMG is adaptive and gets applied immediately after DMG from the spell/AA)

The buff - https://i.gyazo.com/34888b7e2f8040f4c542c34c40e06405.png "Fervor of Battle" (too soon?) unlocks your brutality bar to go beyond 100% and gives you additional bonuses at thresholds:

  • 100% => +8 sec duration of "Fervor for battle" and +4% MS towards enemy champions + 1-12 AD or 2-20AP (Adaptive based on level).
  • 200% => +2 sec duration of "Fervor for battle" and +6% MS towards enemy champions + 2-24 AD or 4-40AP (Adaptive based on level).
  • 300% => +2 sec duration of "Fervor for battle" and +8% MS towards enemy champions + 3-36 AD or 6-60AP (Adaptive based on level).
  • 400% => +2 sec duration of "Fervor for battle" and +10% MS towards enemy champions + 4-48 AD or 8-80AP (Adaptive based on level).
  • 500% => +2 sec duration of "Fervor for battle" and +12% MS towards enemy champions + 20% missing HP heal.

As for how fast it charges I am thinking of 50% of enemy champion HP bar for 100% brutality.

That way you can technically max out benefits by doing 250% of enemy max HP so killing 2 and a half people assuming they didn't sustain.

Now I can see how this might be broken if you just oneshot 2 squishies so maybe we can change it to actual DMG thresholds (something like 500-1500 DMG based on lvl to champions for 100% brutality) but that is something for the balance team to do.

I just want to see my suggestion happen on PBE.

#Notes:

  • The idea behind this one is not a quick and massive burst of DMG like electrocute and harvest that scales hard with offensive stats/souls.
  • It is not a high MS steroid + small extra burst for engage like predator.
  • It is different and it's what a lot of champions need - an execute hit (with higher penetration) + scaling MS and AD/AP buff to catch up to feeling enemies and continue the slaughter.

%MS buff will work same way as approach velocity (1000 range)

Brutality % won't disappear if you get out of combat so you can charge it up with poke in lane and once you get to 60% tish you go for an all in with keystone proc fairly soon (and if done well on your most damaging spell to get maximum benefit from penetration).

You can stack it fast in teamfights by doing AoE dmg to multiple champions. Brutal strike would do some very nice DMG if you hit 3+ champs bellow 50% HP with an AoE spell. Just imagine Vlad ult + brutal strike= AoE Zed ult.

This keystone will be perfect for a lot of champions that don't really like any of the current ones (mainly "In your face mages", some bruisers and juggernauts) as well as most assassins with short CDs who chase to kill: Graves Vladimir Darius and more

the biggest problem I see to this is that it is a safe way to deal incredible damage, you can basically stack it until you feel ready to go in and when you do you are dealing damage very quickly that offers no counterplay other than kill before being killed. and I have to agree that riot doesn't like the idea of one keystone/ mastery being so good that it goes on every champion all the time (just look at the old thunderlords) but the major issue is that the surrent way this keystone is laid out it isn't made for people who chase or need to gap close quickly, its made for people who can all in and take next to no damage while doing so because they have high burst. darius would be permabanned if this came out and so would a lot of adc's and assassins. it just offers way too much safety for the amount of power it lends.

And then literally everyone in every game used it and did so much damage that summoners rift blew up, and with nowhere left to fight, all the champions returned home. The end ######(of league)

I think we have enough dmg and snowball stuff already. Thanks but no thanks. And the WORST part of it all?

IT ISNT RED.
