So I make boards every now and then and always get downvoted without anyone giving proper reasoning why they disagree, so.
What would be some of your reasonings why deaths dance is balanced, and your opinion when paired with phantom dancer and any other lifesteal item?

MysticFlameHaze1 votesExactly my point, this upon phantom dancer reducing your damage gives them insane durability during a fight. and not every champ can build it but it works amazingly on champs who are supposed to be squishy as one of their core weaknesses.

Though, really just death's dance is in a weird spot, where it provides the optimal stats along with the effect that it provides. Kinda like Rav Hydra, it provides lifesteal, which pairs insanely well with the unique passive it provides. Imagine how OP hurricane would be if it had built in lifesteal...
Really the root of this problem can probably be traced back to lifesteal, as the only offensive scaling defensive stat in the game.
MysticFlameHaze1 votesYeah i sort of agree because Either the damage taken over time needs to be 1 reverted or reduced, or lifesteal should be weaker. but nerfing lifesteal would affect many more things in the game making it harder to balance that changing the one item that is definitely out of line.

Kind of like when you go to the Sportsbook and you see the public is heavily wagering on one side of a game, you kinda feel better with that underdog pick because the public is generally lacking in knowledge about wagering.
So to are the Boards generally lacking in knowledge. I look at downvotes kind of like a badge of honor, it means I'm doing something right.

Death's Dance is probably made a bit more busted by ADC but ADC seem to need crit to keep up these days. I dunno.
Phantom Dancer is probably more guilty of making Death's Dance nasty on certain picks.
Death's Dance might be a good candidate for 'Melee Only.' Or for half the bleed effective. The thing is Death's Dance only saves you if you can sustain harder than the 30% overhang.
