With the new assassin item and the past recent nerfs on botrk and last whisper items it is now much harder to kill a tank and you are now much more vulnerable to being assassinated by a zed if you use qss for the item passive the deathmark still kills you i'm assuming so without a duo support who knows what he's doing where do ADCs stand now in general?
Its a very hard point, because if they position them selfs correctly and have a good supporter then they can easily be at their strongest ever. However if they mess up they are dead more quickly than you can say mf.

they are in exactly the same state they were in pre marksmen update. riot balances in circles.
Also, i feel like QSS active should work like sivir's shield to anticipate stuff liek annie flash ult or something like that for ranged champions. QSS cleanse current debuffs and blocks the next spell like sivir's shield for ranged champions. Wouldn't that be better so you can anticipate plays and respond?
