A player should decide his own playstyle

Looking at the comments before and after the jungle changes, they all indicate the same thing.

-Pre changes, laners had to play around their jungler, letting them essentially shotcall the early game for the team. If the enemy jungler wants to ruin your game and your jungler has other priorities, you're fucked and there is nothing you can do about it.

-Post changes, junglers have to play around the laners, letting go of scuttlers, camps and even buffs when they don't have pressure from their laners. Just hide and hope whatever scalling your teammates have can outweigh everything you give up.

Can we all just agree that BOTH situations feel like shit. Does anyone seriously think that dedicating 30 minutes of ones time, playing like a bitch so someone else can decide the game for you, can actually be considered fun?
