Urgot buff ideas

Since Pyke has a far larger execute range that scales off ad, more reliable and reset-able execution ult. wouldn't it be fair to at least raise Urgots execute threshold with ranks in the ability? up to maybe 35% or 40%

Another change could be letting urgot be an exception to the ''no ranged units can build steraks'' just like Gnar is I believe. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

He's already at 50% winrate, close to 51% even. He does not need to be overtuned.

urgot is strong rn anyway, why overkill him for no reason

Thematically, his ult should be able to execute at any percent health. I mean, what difference does it make to a meat grinder if a champion is at 20% or 100% health? Rito I want to see this implemented immediately as a hotfix. Thank you.

As an Urgot main: He is fine as he is. He's already balanced enough.

And also, Urgot can't build Sterak's since he's ranged...And shouldn't. His W scales with HP and letting him build Sterak's will make his shield look like the shield from Nexus Blitz (blessing of Janna I believe).

As for the execute part. I don't exactly agree because his kit is quite strong especially his shotgun passive (not to mention when you build Youmoos) is strong enough to kill squishees and strong enough to damage tank due to max hp damage and having it scale to 35-40% will pretty much turn Urgot into a tank assassin.

His ulti is powerful as it is. But it can be useless if the allies can't take advantage of it in team fights. That's why Urgot is not a 1v9 champion.

Gnar can build Sterak, but it interacts with him in a special way: it gives only HP in mini Gnar form, its passives only activate in mega Gnar form. Same thing how Kayle can build Runaan's, but it only activates, when her E is active.

I believe Urgot has a built in shield on his W, which I guess a compensation for not being able to build Sterak.

Pyke's execution is disgusting, but in my opinion it is because that even if it fails executing, it still deals heavy damage, which brings the targets close to death, whereas Urgot's R deals relatively low damage and just slows, and you have 6 seconds to bring down the target down to the threshold. Urgot's R is fine the way it is, because he is a juggernaut, who only needs duel down the opponent to 25% to be able to kill him, while Pyke is an assassin support, his dueling power sucks.
