Why yasuo is the most preferable champ to LOL players ?

meco78·5/29/2018, 12:54:22 PM·4 votes·6,420 views

Just why ??? if u look at all memes, ban rate , trolls, causes of feding and getting fed....etc it all points to yasuo . Why ppl worship this champ ? you can add the stereotype of zed, vayne, lee sin,RIVEN,kata,yi,teemo. But specialy why yasuo ? is it for his look-a-like an anime playstyle or what ? i really wounder :d . And i m not basing on any stats but i think this champ have the most mains comparable to others league chapms.

Anime design, AD, carry potential and mechanics. Remember that League is predominantly a game played by people in the 14--18 age bracket.

1 word - children

He's got a sword, he has mobility up the ass, he screams while using every ability, and he has a flashy as hell ult. And he can carry hard.

Jinzo Torrance5/29/2018, 1:37:39 PM4 votes

All braindead weebs play him

P4ppino5/29/2018, 12:58:55 PM3 votes

Cuz he's fun no matter what. Also, playing yasuo doesn't get boring, since you can always find new things to improve on.

there is no fucking logic when it comes to prefering things

Just why ???

wtf is this question

Naymliss5/29/2018, 2:05:37 PM3 votes

Because he's super frustrating to play against and in mid lane, he only loses of he messes up. He can harass using his minions, holding windwall for the enemies defensive ability, then go all in on them once it's used.

But he doesn't even have to do that. He scales super hard, so even if he doesnt win lane he will still be relevant. All in all, he's just a toxic champion, but I would much rather play against him than some other mid laners(Fizz for example)

Handy Sandy 5/29/2018, 2:35:07 PM3 votes

Because he's FUN. Is it really this hard to understand that he's a fun champion? I know everyone's salty because they're tired of being beaten to a pulp by him but c'mon you already knew this.

Plus he looks cool and has an interesting kit. In another world I'd probably play him.

Phieldworker5/29/2018, 2:33:20 PM2 votes

Two words: he’s cool

I don’t play him, he is the one champ I don’t play because I rather play against him. But he’s still cool. And I’ve seen the higher skill cap the champ is (riven, Yas, Lee) the more toxic the players are. I think it’s because if you don’t execute everything perfectly you have a mild heart attack.

GripaAviara5/29/2018, 1:06:20 PM2 votes

Ronin (samurai, etc) theme Hypermobility - it's fun jumping around creeps with 0 cost Delete potential - you get fed you basically delete champions Not that punishing as melee - Due to shield, you can afford to make small mistakes

KZ Engel5/29/2018, 1:07:33 PM2 votes

because he's fast-paced, fun, and has high carry potential

Dope Solo5/29/2018, 1:53:25 PM2 votes

Resourceless and OP. People don't pick weak champs.

Snowplosion5/29/2018, 2:53:15 PM2 votes

I think his design is really smooth. His movements and abilities typically look right. Also people like hard carries.

Solidair35/29/2018, 3:36:47 PM2 votes

Samurai sword man with flashy abilities

Galiö5/29/2018, 2:40:57 PM1 votes

The same reason why people hate tank metas or strategic champs like nunu and ivern.

People wanna play a fighting game and not a MOBA and yasuo gives them that feel.

gabetheguy5/29/2018, 8:10:26 PM1 votes

he's edgy. that's literally it.

Spicy Rice6/1/2018, 2:48:55 AM1 votes

Most of the other yasuo player I talked to love his general playstyle, as well as the smoothness of his gameplay compared to other champs.

Other than that, he has a high learning curve and has a lot of potential to outplay if you are good enough.

But honestly, do you really need a reason to like something? Maybe you feel the need to, but most people don't psychoanalyze their champion preferences.

Nhifu5/29/2018, 3:48:03 PM1 votes

ADC meta, and can't be countered by items (sorta)

TheCodeisCupCake5/29/2018, 3:58:52 PM1 votes

Cause he's fun imo, he rewards people who know him well so why not. I assume he has the largest amount because people see a good Yasuo 1v3 and start wanting to do the same thing, que into a game and go 1/219/3 and continuing the stereotype for non-shit Yasuo mains

Salson5/29/2018, 4:10:07 PM1 votes

The real answer is him being viable in two lanes. Top Yasuo is just as popular as Riven. Mid Yasuo is just as popular as Zed.

All three and numerous others are fun, smooth, have visible impact and high skillcap.

"LOOK AT MY DAMN AWESOME OUTPLAYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSS .... oh i died".

VvVVvV5/29/2018, 5:52:37 PM1 votes

I dont play Yasuo, but people that I know who play him say they like him because he is fun. I guess dashing all over the place causes that.

But for me playing against him I wouldnt know if hes still the same way because ive been banning him for about a good straight 18 months when im mid. but im thinking of taking my chances against him and starting to ban Zed because that mofo is just putting out wayyyy too much damn damage right now. Zed with electrocute almost doesnt even need his ult against adcs and mages.

Slice n Dice em5/29/2018, 2:33:10 PM1 votes

He has a key to Valhalla or some other shit but the main point here is that he has a key.

Sir Prepuzius5/29/2018, 1:02:17 PM1 votes

that's a good question

i have no idea

i'm so tired of seeing him all the time i don't even want to play him

just ban this guy, everytime, at every game, let's let him roam only in blind pick and eventually rot, if we're lucky
