IT s all about the 'SS'. instead of pinging just 'ennemie is missing' in ur lane. I personnaly ping 'danger' in allies lanes and then ping 'missing'in my lane . and if im not facing ahuge wave i even follow up in chat with : 'hey guys ss mid/top/support...etc'.Low elo players dont tend to see the minimap every 5-3s . so better if u ping them danger in their lane as the danger ping is more visible to eye due to the red color and loud sound. Can confirm it doesn't work. Ive legit had a Fizz go through river while i was at base, take the time to clear the pink ward, and the proceed to bot lane. All the while i was frantically pinging for them to back off and they still gave him a double kill while pushed up their lane. If people don't want to pay attention they won't.

My trick is to alternate between pings, if it's a missing I'll missing ping where I think the enemy is and then I'll danger ping on top of the person I'm specifically warning. Helps communicate what I'm getting at non-verbally.

Do this anyway, they rarely take notice. Won lane in 2 ranked games today only to see my jungler and bot lane feed and lose us the game. Best tip for ranked play, hope. Hope no one feeds, hope no one gets tilted, hope people understand their lane, and hope they know that face checking every bush in the game won't help them. Sadly I got unlucky today.

A tip: Pings don't help getting dived. So many times have I been dived under turret at full hp because our laner refuses to follow their lane just for an extra wave of cs.
