Approach Velocity and Ingenious Hunter are in the wrong Keystone groups.

The Domination Keystone is for burst damage and "target access" so why isn't Approach velocity (increases your speed towards enemies you slow) in the Domination group instead of in the Inspiration Keystone group?

Ingenious Hunter (lowers active item cooldown) would be more appropriate in the "creative tools and rule bending" Inspiration keystone and used with supports who often build redemption, shurelyas, Locket of Iron, or twin shadows.

Anyone else think these should be in opposite Keystones?

Approach velocity also allows you to move faster towards impaired allies which makes it more of a utility rune. Ingenious hunter also requires you to take bounties in-order to benefit from the cool down reduction bounty system makes it more of a Domination rune.

You forgot to mention the parts of the abilities that make them part of the path they are in.

They could modify already existing runes to be added to additional paths but it seems they would need to make sure balancing for stacking types of runes doesn't get out of hand. Wouldn't mind if they added some copies into different paths though.

There's tons of problems with the keystones. I even asked Riot devs last year at pax and the only thing they said was keystone paths shouldn't limit your bonuses too much (which is bullshit imo)

If keystones made sense the bonus healing rune from defense tree would be in sorcery or inspiration. The tenacity option in Precision tree would be in defense tree. Almost 1/3 of the runes are in the wrong tree.

Approach Velocity is more of a utility rune.

Nullifying Orb should be in Resolve imo. Nimbus Cloak should be in Domination. Ultimate Hunter should be in Sorcery. Presence of Mind should be in Sorcery.

Legend: Tenacity should be in Resolve.

Right. Approqch Velocity belongs in sorcery like other movement speed masteries/keystones. :V
