>People lose their shit >They play Hecarim to avoid this massive bullshit >Riot realizes they found a way to make the game enjoyable In a minimum way

OH GEEZ WE FORGOT TO FUCK THE HORSE,LET'S REMOVE THE RELEVENT PART OF HIS PASSIVE.

Seriously? How the fuck am I suppose to control him without hitting everything with his massive ass?I don't know If riot Is aware, but his AD/MS passive Is utter shit when you consider his inexistant AD scalings and how his role Is to actually keep up with his opponents.

Yeah, this is a pretty arbitrary change to a champion who isn't really shaking up the scene too badly. I have to question Riot's logic on it

"Oh Geez We forgot to fuck the horse."

I lost it there.

First Swain, now Hecarim. Meanwhile Trynd and Yas remain untouched.

No one likes these new changes with minion collision detection, it was all ready difficult to abuse and impossible to predict, and now it's worse.

It's gone from mildly annoying to frustration levels.

Why is there so much focus around this lately?

I like how they waited until after they released the Hecarim skin to post this change, filthy stuff.

I agree, I'm only bronze 3 but I guess I would call myself a Hecarim main. People always complain about syndra not having a passive until level 9, while hecarim pretty much gets no unit collision and like 30 bonus ad when he's full build assuming you build triforce deadmans and boots of swiftness alacrity. The lack of unit collision was actually extremely useful on hecarim as it helped him trade through minions waves and was an important aspect of lane hecarim. Moving his passive onto his e will make it so he engages with his e, but then gets stuck behind minions and takes minions aggro damage+champ retaliation. This forces hecarim to take extra damage from minions when he tries to trade in lane, or he can save his e to disengage which leaves him without a reliable engage outside of his ult and also a significant portion of his damage. Additionally, both fizz and kassadin get to keep their no unit collision and also have passives that are useful early game. Also, no unit collision fits hecarim as he's a spectral rider. The health nerfs are also unnecessary as they hurt his already somewhat weak first clear and just aren't needed.

Was watching C9 Sneaky's stream and at one point he tried to move behind the golems on the top side of the map to dash over the wall with Lucian. He couldn't get behind the golems because their bodies blocked him. Doesn't seem very intuitive to gameplay. There's been a few instances where the minion block has messed with me, including when trying to last hit a minion and you have to move all the way around your own minion wave just to get in range, and by that point you missed the last hit. Or here's a funny one, I was attacking the enemy nexus when their minions spawned (super minions). I was trying to pull an Xpeke, and these minions all surrounded me so I couldn't move at all or run even if I wanted to. They held me in place until the enemies caught up to me and killed me, whereas otherwise I would have likely been able to destroy the nexus. One more example: I was playing bot lane as adc. We engaged past the enemy minion line for a kill on the enemy bot lane, we got the kill and when I tried to back off their minions formed a wall preventing me from running back. My champion could not decide on a course path so he stood there bugging out while the enemy support killed me. That's enough to make me agree with the title of this thread.

Yeah removal of homeguards was already bad enough for Hecarim. He's like, the only champion that actually got worse because of it because he lost a huge chunk of his early game power. Now he can't even properly harass?

At least I have m'pretty skin :(

Wait when the fuck did they remove that and why? And if they did it for Hecarim why didn't they do it for Fizz*[zombie-brand-mindblown]*

They really need to rework his passive so he gets something more interesting for building movespeed. Like making his E last longer with more movespeed, having his ult scale with movespeed, his W getting a bigger radius with more movespeed. Unfortunately there's not enough items that give movespeed that he can realistically build.

Perhaps they're going to remove minion unit collision and are just removing it from hec's passive?

Unlikely I know, but one can hope.

Let's remove Fizz's and Janna's "anti unit collision" passives as well to make it fair.

Cherysse11/26/2015, 2:04:59 AM1 votes

They shouldn't have changed it, besides it is not like item 3046 benefits him.
