What is wrong with matchmaking in ranked, especially during placement?

Everyone mad at me because i'm terrible, which I admit. Clearly Im Iron, and maybe if I practice, bronze.

But during placements, I get put in game with silver and golds that are much better than I am. I cant farm, cant do much of anything.

So, I get called every name in the book, spam pinged, etc. I explain I'm really low elo in placements, and of course, it doesn't matter. Everyone just as toxic as can be.

Why can't they pair newer people in placements with a low rank, then work your way up. Instead of putting you in the middle? If you destroy the first game, move you up an elo regardless of your how your team does. That would make more sense.

Hey, don't worry about it.

Let granny Masquerena tell you a secret, the difference between Iron, Bronze, Silver and to some extent Gold, is the foil, all are garbage, some just a different bag.

It's ok if you're bad, just calm down and learn the basics. You aren't defeated by them because they are "much better than you", they win because they have more of the basics down than you.

I'll give you the ol' LS Special, pick Annie.

Focus on learning the game and improving yourself, those players flaming you are most probably just as bad as you are, minor difference is that they didn't make as many mistakes in that particular game.

I'd recommend these 3 channels on YouTube to learn from: Skill Capped, Pro Guides, Game Leap. Skill Capped has nice vids and they also give you suggestions and info on how to make a game plan and why that plan is how it is.

If a player is in the same match as you, he has the same MMR as you, so he's around your skill level.
