What Is The Main Thing That Makes Faker So Good?

Is it his farm? His skill shots? Dodging his skill shots? Being good on a variety of champions? What is it?

I was thinking it was probably being good on a variety of champions. Because that way he cant counter pick and what not. I just want to know because im getting sick of losing games when im 1 tricking of champion that i have over 1300 games on. Yet im losing games in gold 3 :/

Well for one thing, riot is making 1 tricking less viable. So you're not going to see much of an increase from the average win rate, than if you had half of the experience on the champion. Just become proficient at a few champions who cover each other's weaknesses, and take which ever the enemy is least prepared to deal with.

Though, besides extensively more practice than you, he doesn't play in the moment. He plays ahead, constantly. He plans his reactions in advance, factoring in as many possible details and as many moves ahead as he can, before the context and circumstance of the game change, and the planning restarts. To do this however would require your mechanical skill, in respect to things like last hitting, wave control, and ability CDs, to be so refined that you can pass it to your subconscious. So despite all of what i just said, DON'T TRY AND DO THIS.

As you said, you're gold 3. If you want to rank up, then you're asking the wrong question. You shouldn't be concerned with what makes faker good. If you want to rank up and get better. You should be asking, "what is the primary difference between yourself and the average plat player?" This will allow you to get better. Something else to ask is, "what's the difference between the average gold player and the average plat player?" Then exploit that difference.

Once you get to plat, ask yourself the same for diamond, Exc.

Oh, and a mean little psychological trick to make your opponent actually play worse, is to ask them to explain how the did something which seemed well executed. Generally if someone's actions seem rehearsed, then they are doing them subconsciously, and asking them to explain how they did it brings it out of their subconscious and make it harder for them to repeat. It's like when you think about your breathing pattern.... yes, it's that exact same phenomenon. (Also, harder to read text makes you think about it more ;D )

this is almost exactly wha ti wanted to say (minus the subconscious trick, ill have to turn all cha ton to try that lol ).

the other thing that makes him SO good is his abliity to claw his way back into a game, if he goes, just like Vs Perkz or back when they Faced Rox at worlds 0/2-4/0 and 30CS down etc, unlike a LOT of other pro's he finds ways around his team, around the map to claw back that lost gold deficit while simultaneously not deriving the teams current ''Carry'' gold and snowball potential.

tbh, the whole of SKT move so beautifully on the map, as a 1v1 laner Faker really isnt far and above the rest anymore because he was THAT good he forced other mids to try to compete and get to his level, thats starting to happen now, the main thing is the teams movement and his ability to never truly stay behind for longer than 10minutes, rarely even that long.

Generally it's his laning mechanics that enables him to kill his opponent at one mistake and generally make him harder to gank as a player.

I'd say his advantage relies in reaction time and very fast thinking or very good memory (when he expects a certain movement or skillshot in a point is he "thinking" or he saw that thing happen already so uncosciously he reacts to it?) off course good mechanics and map reading, but at this level everyone had them
