Rengar's Win Rate Went Down?

Chimp Joker··1 votes·485 views

I was planning to learn how to play Rengar, so I decided to check out some builds on op.gg as per usual. All of a sudden I noticed that his win rate is 44.67%. Did I miss something? It's certainly not the worst win rate, but to me it seems weird that his win rate is a bit lower than I remembered. What happened?

What you missed is that Rengar is pretty strong and EVERYONE is trying to play him expecting to win. News flash, you can't just grab a new champ and expect to win. New players doing ridiculously risky plays and dying repeatedly = lower win rate.

His pick rate has more than doubled with people who have no idea how to play him. Haven't seen a 12% pick rate in forever.

even Kha 's pisck rate is double, but he has still 50% win

I mean...that might tell us something bad about Kha'zix.

The only difference being that Kha's kit didn't fundamentally change whereas Rengar's did and people have gotten less than a week so far to try it.

He was reworked in 6.22.

As such:

  • Everyone is relearning him
  • Many players (who haven't played him or often jungle before) are trying him out

Expect the win-rate to jump back up in the next patch after the hype wears off.
