What is the reason behind getting and receiving ganks?

in all of my past games if i get pushed under my turret im getting ganked not just by the jungler by the top and even bysupports yes (janna included) even though im under turret ... I try pushing and i still get ganked ... so in my frustration in majority of tehse games im asking for a gank even if im not dying but i just get ignored.....

what is the reasoning behind this? Im kinda getting fed up of it... i cant do anything without being ganked.....

Purpose of ganks is 1 to keep you from getting exp and leveling. 2 to kill you and delay you from getting last hit and enuff cash for items to buff your self. Pushing seems secondary to these goals...

Yeh my main issue though is that even when im under turret jungler supports and top laners are still coming for me and its not just in one game like what makes them go for me and not other lanes? Ive beem playing swain so is it champion choice?
