Feedback on Urgot Changes

Hello Riot, as a passionate Urgot enthusiast I just wanted to point out a few things I dont agree with on the Urgot changelist on the PBE, and offer some feedback on what could make it better!

So lets start with the Passive

I feel like the removal of the reduction is potentially too strong in the midgame, especially if he is itemizing for more AD in his build, in a 1v1 situation he will do one hell of alot of damage from an ability that doesnt really have much counterplay, allowing easy executes if you dont burst him before bursts you.

And this ties into a few other Issues I have, my solution was more of a thematically fitting kind, Urgot shoots Flames, perhaps you can keep the reduction gone but have the damage from the passive be dealt over time and refresh its duration on each new leg, this way we can take some of the raw power this passive and perhaps apply it to more needed areas in his kit while keeping counterplay available and clear.

Next, lets move onto his W* This is where the most of my criticism is aimed at. His W will be getting massively reduced cooldown and buffed on hit interaction to make up for the removal of his shield, and I honestly completely disagree with the direction the ability has taken. The ability before these changes had such a low impact damage wise, you could buy a triforce and deal more damage per second than this ability could by basic attacking without the downsides of a self slow. And now it feels like theres no point to the ability anymore with the removal of what made it worth activating in a duel. I feel like reducing the power on his proposed passive changes and putting it into this abilities raw damage numbers could make the ability line up with the juggernaut 'situational power' theme by making the ability his main damage source.

His E While I disliked the changes innitially, there is admittedly little room in his kit to grow with him having 2 abilities for safe keeping. And if his W gains the changes I am drawing out then perhaps the direction of this ability can be good, though the scaling might need to be toned down.

And finally, his R

I personally feel that the range is unnecessary and will prove situatuonal at best, the casting time is a problem for his passive as its increase will be an awkward stop in his DPS. The base damage increase rank 1 is scary though, though it does highlight one thing, this entire changelist seems to take away from the incentive to build tanky and reward full AD/lethality builds.

Tested him on PBE and the changes felt pretty good.

I was positively surprised that W at rank 5 becomes a toggle ability (always on until deactivated). It makes him feel more unique than before and helps with constant passive proc's later in the game.

I don't really mind the shield being relocated to his E.

Wonderful... more arbitrary and useless changes so they can ruin the champion even more.
