I'll keep this brief. After taking a long break from League and trying out some other mobas such as "Smite," I came back, did my 10 ranked games and am quickly approaching plat. After the initial excitement and honeymoon phase of playing the game. I noticed that, generally speaking, the team that had the PvE jungler lost. Not really a surprise mind you, but when the PvE jungler is on my team, it is VERY frustrating. The PVE Jungler doesn't seem to respect the value of map control, ganks, or control over objectives. Sure, I may be used to and spoiled by low diamond and high plat play. But the amount of expectation I have is at that level where, I know what I should expect out of my fellow player at my current level. PvE Junglers though appear to be Silver at most and contribute very little to the overall game. The games with them that are won, are mostly won by a strong carry or two against an enemy team that has weaker players/carries. But, not all 4 v 5s can be won.

With that, I Have Several questions for the community. the -marked bullet points are my observations of PvE Junglers in season 6 thus far.

  1. How Does Devourer Work (Used the warwick icon instead of wolves.   2. What does PvE Jungling bring to a team? -late game erasure potential -late game pushing potential -Potential for good map control (Scuttle Crabs, Ganks (since killing champs nets you two points), Dragons(more points))

  3. What are the Problems of PvE Jungling? -Very little map control (It is just safer to stay in your own jungle since the timers will reset your buffs by the time you clear, check for cuttle crab, then back) -Very low presence from the jungler (Why should the jungler gank if the lanes are pushed up? There is very little reward for ganking if the jungler does not get the kill for the risk and time involved) -Warding: 1 minute wards..... WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE (In case if it isn't obvious, this statement is meant to be satirical sarcasm)

Devourer + Guinsoo's is broken. Jax is the champion I see taking the longest to stack Devourer's, Yi and Udyr take the least time. I am at a much lower ELO (I don't really play ranked...) and have been seeing Yi, Udyr, Xin, and Jax almost exclusively for junglers. The strongest junglers I've seen recently have been Udyr and Shaco esp. when heavily counter-jungling a devourer champion like Xin or Jax that can't feasibly counter-jungle back. When Devourer Champions get shut down, they do very little. When they get fed they purchase Guinsoo's and murder everyone.

Devourer sucks hard so does Jax I dont get why people ban him. When he is on enemy team he buys dev and goes 0 5 cos squishy shitt cant kill anything gg ez.
