Any tips on 4v5?

Recently I lost 2 games in a row where we had an afk player. Any tips on how to win? Because the last game we were winning, but they caught up and became late game monsters. I was playing Volibear and had a 2 decent players but 1 afk and 1 daft player who went in without thinking and went full AD jax, feeding and being useless. I feel like we were losing our lead and I don't know how to deal with that either. Very frustrating, because I put lots of time into that game and it was turning out as if we had our chance, then lost.

Wave Clear, Burst Damage, Picking enemies caught out during rotations. Other than that, try to soak up more XP than your opponent. The reason 4v5's can win is usually that they will out level the opponent early on if they can stay alive, and win the game before the enemy takes advantage of the numbers. Wave clear can help you from just getting your towers sacked easily. Burst damage and pick potential for making the 4v5 a 4v4 before teamfights. Win the fights, and push fast.

all 4 of you should buy a zz rot to relieve pressure and it makes you tankier/survive longer

depends on comp but most of the time you cant win because of how the game works currently.

Hope the enemy is so unbelievably bad that you have a chance and then do everything you can to NOT die.

Be significantly better than your opponents or lose.

4v5 is a pain because one guy will generally just split push forever because he can.
