Promos with my duo, guess what happened?

My duo was in promos for Gold V, we eventually got him there. Right after that, I entered promos for Silver IV. Once I hit Silver IV, he got into promos for Gold IV. Together, we had a total of 7 or 8 promo games, between us. So guess what happaned?

No trolls, no feeders, no AFKs. We had a few bad players, sure. But no one who was the obvious cause of the loss. And yes, we both won promos.

Just wanted to remind the community that successful promos are possible, even in low Elo

Well, when the previous 10+ games are full of nothing but leavers, toxic players, and generally terrible players you don't even want to attempt to get to the promos because you know you will just get verbally abusive teammates or the guy who "locks in top as 5th pick even though 1st pick already has it and proceeds to go 0-7 in lane". You can keep telling yourself "ah its ok its just one game, or maybe its just a bad day for solo queue" but when it happens literally 24/7 you just don't want to play anymore.
