What wonderful matchmaking
Just played a match and it was me, currently S5, a S3, a B1, a P5 and a P4 against two D5, a P4, a G4 and an unranked. Seems fair.

they had an unranked, but still if you had another silver instead of a bronze then it would be fair,
to be honest i would love to play against diamonds so i can practice
I have a friend I queue with in normals occasionally who somehow has an mmr that makes me(D5)+her (unranked) face off against a team of bronze players and sub-30's. To be fair my normals mmr is like goldish, but I don't know how things get so bad sometimes.
...Ok, well I do know, and it's because normals and ranked mmr's are different, so theres lots of higher ranked players with near starting normals mmr (i.e. silver), plus theres plenty of people out there who play their main champions in normals and hence might manage to climb further in terms of normal mmr than they can in ranked (since in normals they're frequently playing people on unfamiliar champs who aren't trying as hard as in ranked, so if they are on their main, they'll go further than their skill level might suggest).
Sometimes you just have to embrace the fiesta that is normals. I try to play unfamiliar champions and/or roles with her nowadays just so it's a little more fair, but it can be pretty silly.
