yo riot boys, when will you guys finally fix bugged flash autoattacks

after a couple of years now it became a bit annoying flashing away from melee champs and getting killed with an melee autoattack 900+ range after flash... tho there is a post saying fix pathing and i agree thats more important, but you could work on this too

It's not a bug. If the auto attack animation is already completed flashing doesn't cancel it. It's not a bug, you just waste your flash a bunch.

I thought it was called flash because when you use it, you're supposed to instantaneously move from point A to point B completely unaffected, untouched, or interfered. Here is the definition: "Flash is a blink summoner spell that activates instantly upon being cast, teleporting the player's champion a short distance in the direction of their cursor." The problem is that flash isn't like a flash but instead it is like a fast dash. Riot needs to fix flash animations. That is the only explanantion as to how you are still hit when or after flashing from melee attack. Even if the attack is .001 secs away from hitting, you still should not be hit.
