Why are you allowed to queue into a game when there's going to be maintenance?
Why aren't game queue's disabled for so long before and after servers are up again? Like. It's common sense.

You get "loss prevented" for a loss and a win for a win... most of the time although sometimes it throws you out of a match.
Ranked generally are.
What people do in normals should, frankly, be up to them. If maintenance is announced (if not, then it IS a problem, but you are talking about when it is, right?), and people want to start a normal 15 min before, it's their choice, I don't see why disallow it.

Yeah but did they post the news somewhere in the client? If not then not everyone checks or has twitter or whereve they announced maintenance was going to happen.
Every other games out there I know of disables queueing before maintenance, which I think is even more important for a game like League where going "afk" can lead to potentially smacking you with a penalty? Are people who loaded into a match just supposed to leave their client open and wait til servers are back up? Hope that the system won't count that as an afk (which I've heard it shouldn't, but shouldn't isn't the same as won't) or a leave.
