Permanent skins from re-rolls shouldn't be automatically added to your acct

If you own the char, you should have to choose to unlock it. I have 2 perm skins that I don't even want just because I didn't have the choice.

I agree, but the reason they made them automatically unlock is because someone did the math to show that re-rolling <= 750 RP skins and then disenchanting the resulting permanent shards gave more OE on average than disenchanting all 3x750 RP skins. Riot felt that was gaming the system, so they removed that as a possibility.

Hextech Crafting has become much less generous than when it was originally released... Massive OE nerf, automatic perma shard unlocks, garbage like emotes added to clutter the loot table, etc. I also think the average skin rolled has become worse, as if they have skewed the rate to obtain poor-selling skins as shards. I've even gotten multiple shards of the same junk skin, which is statistically unlikely considering the thousands of possible skins to roll, how few chests I've unlocked (purchased zero), and the rarity of skin shards to begin with. Also I haven't gotten a gem in like a year.

I too have gotten skins from re-rolls that I know I will never use because I consider them worse than the classic skin for the champion... Like King Tryndamere or Rumble in the Jungle... I will probably never use these outdated skins, especially King Tryndamere since I already bought Nightmare Tryndamere when it was on sale and I don't even play that much Tryndamere anyways. Oh well. Can't complain too much.

That's so dumb tho, skin shards (outside of events) are pretty hard to get, chests don't guarantee them, and you need 3 to re-roll. How is it gaming the system when you need so much OE to unlock any of the higher worth skin shards anyway? I got Academy Ekko (I have received 3 skins for Ekko and haven't even touched the char yet lol), which somebody out there probably wants, but I think is garbage. Also Sweetheart Annie, which is...ok...but there are other Annie skins that are far better. Would've prob saved them and re-rolled them later for a chance at a skin not on the market. Or one that is that I actually want.

You can ask Riot Support to remove content, but know that this is different than a refund in that you do not get anything back, and if you wish to reacquire the content later, you must either pay normal pricing for it in the store, or get it through crafting again.

You never know. If it is a skin of a champion that gets a VGU that skin you didn't want might become something cool.

If I didn't like the champion before the visual upgrade, I doubt I will afterwords unless it's a rework of their kit, but that's just me.

They should at least do that for emotes or icons. I don't care about the things I'm never gonna use anyway, let me have some OE out of it for something I want.

I have around 170+ perma skins that i don't like. I didn't buy/chose those skins (obviously). I got most of them from Orbs and Mystery Skins. That's around 900$ of trash content. If you want specific skins for champs you main - you have the option to buy those skins directly, or... you can gamble and you get what you get... 😕 Gamble is big side of LoL - and it's meant to work that way. Unfortunately (for us... cause Riot earned billions of $ from the gambling side of LoL).
