We expect champions to be stronger or weaker from one map to the next - hence the two changes below - but we don’t want abilities to be crippled entirely outside of Summoner’s Rift. Moving forward, we’ll continue to evaluate changes in this vein as champs are added and updated, but the days of map-specific balancing for strength alone are behind us.

Never again, evidently. Considering map-specific balancing originally came out specifically because Riot's "one SR fits all"-style of balancing clearly wasn't working, I'm incredibly curious what their plan is this time.

It's a sad day when even "one guy's lunch break" is apparently considered too many resources to spend on non-SR maps.

I didn't really mean champion changes depending on map, but just changes to map in general. Or making changes to some champions or itemization depending on who's broken on one map, maybe.
