@riot @meddler October 31st 2012 was the last day a True transforming champ was released

Nid came out in 09, Jayce was July 2012, Elise was october 2012. Since then I've been waiting for a sister champ to jayce, another AD champ that transforms.

For all of this time I have been waiting for another gish champ.

No Gnar doesn't count, The thing about Gnar is that you don't control the form swap actively.

"Transformation is done though" Negative: Transformation champions have quite a lot more to offer us. We have two jungler AP transformer champs, both of whom have been reduced to a single mechanic. Having the amazing part of being a transformation champ completely removed.

Imagine an ADC who turns into an assassin, or a Tank who turns into a supportive enchanter.

"Why"

Transformation champions are best as generalists, they're not the best at anything in the game other than... maybe... CDR.

If you let a transformation champion become a single utility champion then you get Elise... who literally only dives towers. The fucking six ability IMMORTAL QUEEN OF SPIDERS has one job.... and it's only tower diving which basically anyone can do with a cloth vest.

"They're too hard to balance because they have too much in their kits"

That was a legit response when the most in depth kit we ever saw was Mundo, and vayne was considered super high skill cap because of her condemn..... now every champion is released with more utility than Elise, Nidalee, or jayce.

The fact is that each of these champions is decent but has been reduced to such a point that two occupy the same general niche (Early game oppressive ganking junglers) and the third is basically just an AD building lane version. Nid and Jayce both rely on "Land Q then dive" Nid and Elise have both been forced into more linear play by single virtue of nerfs to everything not revolving around Nid Spearpoke or Elise tower dives.

"Why would you want another one of the same champion?" They're not the same champion. Nid with full AD scaling instead of AP scaling would be very different from jayce.... actually she'd be an amazing ADC that I would play constantly tbh. Jayce with full AP scaling would be different than Nid, and in no world is Elise comparable to jayce or Nid as far as kit.

These champions have also been neglected, each of them has had at least one time where they went for two seasons without any viability. They have all had at least a three year period of zero skins....

So here's my proposal: Pop up a new champion, ADC meets Assassin, release alongside another new champion: Enchanter meets warden. Bring back lane nidalee, give her a bit of hybrid scaling. Pop resists back on elise spider form. Revert the Nid AA reset removal. you will then have, two AD transformers, two AP transformers, and one Hybrid transformer. You will have a full team comp of them deserving of a skin set.

You will then get lots of girlfriends. All of the devs will then get girlfriends who will be hot.. unless they don't like girls then they can have boyfriends who will be hot, it's ok, either way you will be happy because I will be happy, and the world will continue, the whole flat earth will be even wider and flatter in happiness
