Is there anyway we can just veto getting champions reworked? I love poppy how she is and I loved sion prior to his change. I would much rather have buffs or maybe just one or two skills changed rather than a whole new champion. From one poppy and ap sion lover to another :'(
TeemoJenkins2 votesThe reason they are getting reworked is simple: the champs have a small cult following, but no mass player base. Since Sions rework I can't go three games without having one it in. I can't recall the last time I saw a Poppy in a game.
J Epstein2 votesYeah, new sion is beast, but i miss old sion. I kind of feel he lost his identity a little for me. Build him with frozen mallet, boots with furor, Hydra, rest tank, resulting in a monster with 5000hp, 200 armor/MR, and massive damage and lifesteal. I would often 1v5 with AD bruiser Sion.

Taskmaker22 votesI currently main poppy, played her since season one, and am loving her in this current meta. I also believe that she shouldn't receive a heavy rework because her kit is already super unique. I mean people don't play poppy because yes, there are better champs out there, and honestly, it takes time and talent to get good with her. Sion's changes I understood because he... well didn't have the funnest kit. Poppy though is a blast to play! I feel like they are taking out the best parts (her q, passive, and ult) which was what made poppy so unique! her ult really isn't much better than kayle's or trynn's ult (trynn can use his while cc'd poppy cannot) but it is so much fun to use it in fights and be able to block so much damage for your team and take out key targets, but guess what! now you are in the middle of the team without that ult! Honestly she isn't op, she has just been forgotten. They shouldn't change her just to remind people she is there.
Look at amumu- they did a special art movie for him and BAM people were playing him again. Rammus- still op, never seen. Nasus, more op than poppy late game but not played anymore. if the problem was that people weren't playing poppy much maybe it's only because the newer champs are flashier. A visual update for poppy would fix that, but change her kit and well... you are just killing a champ that some people didn't even care about to begin with, while hurting the trust of all those that really did.
You want to change poppy into something she is not? Why not make a new champ that is what you are thinking about and leave poppy in the game?

Crett1 votesWhat makes you think that? I played Poppy before she was reworked. I know her old kit. It was cool sometimes, but her ult was an abomination.

ShemsuHor1 votesI total get and understand why they get reworked but i think its the easy way out of balancing issues. Sion could have easily been made into two champions that both felt very much like Sion. Now we instead have a champion that only has one ability to reflect old Sion. He doesnt even look like a big derp anymore! ;P Idk when we look at Hiemer you can tell they took time because he kept most of his identity even though they made him entirely different. turrets rockets play style and his ult still effects his turrets, just in a different way.(note: obviously nothing like old hiemer with 5 upgradable turrets and 7 single rockets :/)
I guess my main push on this post is to BEG you Riot...When you rework Poppy, keep all of her abilities in some form just with different functionality or mechanics. <3 a devoted league fan
