Something about Katarina's gameplay

I wonder if anyone else experience the same with me, but sometimes when i am using her, my ult wouldn't follow up after i have used my shunpo. Well, and then the enemy team would diverse away and my ult would become useless. Is it something about the game? Hope it would be investigated.
