Moo-Man's moo is one of the more satisfying laning tools he has. Why does it even exist if it's going to be this weak in a duo lane? Alistar can't harass, so what is so OP about him sustaining past some of the enemy's harass? As it is it's not even that strong, and it takes up a HUGE amount of mana. Why must it keep being nerfed? If it's going to be this weak, then just replace it with something else. Put a steak through it's heart or leave it be, rather than torturing it with nerf after nerf. Just get it over with and kill Shaman Moo-Man Alistar once and for all. He will be mourned much more than the other build paths you've murdered (RIP AP Skarner). [zombie-nunu-tears]

Engage lanes like Alistar, Leona, and Blitzcrank are supposed to be weak to poke, and Alistar is pretty good against poke.

Sorry to tell you, but Alistar definitely needs the nerfs. Even though his numbers don't look that high, he is the #1 pick/ban champion in pro play. There's a definite reason for that.

Personally, I think making him the peeling support, the protector, that he should be will give him better balancing levers. Make his Q single target, and make his W area of effect. Remove the combo, and now you have aoe peel and only single target engage. It seems much easier to balance around with just cooldowns, ratios, and base stats. My only worry is this will lead to a one dimensional play pattern that's not as interesting.

They should honestly change what the spell does

For example

Triumphant roar Increases alistar move speed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 3 seconds and speeding his allies up by 50% that value, the move speed bonus is doubled when moving toward an enemy champion

Because no nerf to his Q-W combo will actually feel impactful. You could take out all the damage on his Q-W and it'd still be just as good.

You could make the CD's twice as long and all it'd do is just change the time between engages.

Alistar's Ult and Heal are the only things that you can actually nerf on Alistar that would have an impact.

he is a crazy good all-in champ and early tower diver. He has some of the most power to disengage and pick his/his team's fights

he doesn't deserve sustain too
