Fervor getting nerfed changed so he loses 52 on hit damage, jungle camp respawn timer increased, Ghostblade losing its attack speed.
He already is borderline useless right now but that will put him down at the very bottom.

Need Gold 4 Tent1 votesThe way I do it (not always successful depending on matchup), is to lane him mid or top while maxing W. You cannot afford crit build in jungle unless you get stupid fed, which is also more unlikely since you'd be skipping fervor. Start with Doran's ring for mana regen and a little bit of AP to make the healing better. Farm 1350g and back to get yourself a cull and a lifesteal sceptre, and stay in lane for as long as possible (with max W, not hard especially if the enemy uses mana for poke). Besides, it is very easy to provoke stupid dives for an easy 300g since very few people max W (some people think they can outdps a Yi's W because they've never actually dealt with a leveled one early on).
Now the items, they give 0 lane presence and kill potential. For me, that's also acceptable since the second I lock in crit yi, I have resigned myself to losing lane. The goal is thus to survive lane with as few deaths as possible and use the huge power spike from IE/PD to start getting kills later on.
Not sure how this playstyle will be affected though.
Jax Cramer1 votesYeah except he is never gonna get the gold for an Infinity Edge because powerfarming will be impossible and his ganks are very predictable. He always relied on getting gold and xp from his fast clears.

is going to need a complete rework. Until that happens we need a way to play him in lane with a few changes. The main thing that prevents him from laning is an extremely long CD on Meditate and a high mana cost on Alpha Strike. Change both of those and we can have Yi in mid pretty easily.
