Imagine playing a plat ranked game and u feel pretty good about your self because u solo killed the enemy laner twice. But then u realise you're first time qiyana, lulu and tristana go 0/10 in lane. What can you do in this scenario? Afk or ff 15. Riot don't allow people to first time champions in ranked

Because not being allowed to counterpick because you haven't played games on a champ in a specific account is just bullshit.

I would take a challenger player on a champ they have never even read the skills before over someone that has been gold for 8 seasons on their main every day of the week.

And if we are going to discriminate based on "experience on the champion" with the goal of "making ranked more competitive", I say lets disallow people to pick anything that they have a sub 48% winrate until they get it to 55% winrate in normals which would re-enable the champion. /s

I first-time picked Lux, Yuumi, Teemo and Kayle all in ranked and played them one time.

I won each time.

Maybe implement the mastery system into ranked requirements. For example you must have at least be mastery level 6 with the champ, with at least 6 champions, so you dont get banned out.Just a thought.

Have you not heard?

That's how you balance winrates.
