Learning to carry gold/silver on smurf

Honestly it is like so different playing with these people than on my main. Its a different playstyle to the game just in general. It can be so fuckin frustrating when your team doesn't even have any idea what is happening in the game. For instance right... Team has a lead, 4 enemy tower are down and its 25 minutes. Siege aren't working. We have 2 mountain drake and champs like vayne gnar malz brand j4 or something... The lanes are pushed. Why will these people not go on the baron??? Then if we go on baron and enemy team comes they don't know to stop killing the 6k go baron and fight....

Like that stuff is very frustrating. Also, its really shirty when like as a Smurf right you should win your lane always. Sometimes you get counter picked and/or camped so hard you can't pick up much advantage in lane to help ur team...

I mean I feel like it should be easier for me to carry these people since I could get my main to plat 2, but its hard, its tilting, and really you can't carry the mindset of like oh I'm so much better than you I win automatically cuz then when someone doesn't make the mistake you would expect, you are the one punished for it, you fall behind, and your team will only save you like 15% of the time.

So Idk maybe I'm just venting but anyone else have a hard time ranking up a Smurf experience this stuff or have some advice?

Am I supposed to sympathize with someone playing below their skill level and not getting high skilled players that conform to the higher rank strategies?

You completely miss the point. This post does not ask for sympathy. This post is intended to ask advice and experience from other people smurfing.

I tried to rank up my smurf that is right now in silver, I'm plat 5 now and I struggle with the same issue, its a totally different playstyle, even if plat isnt that high.

It is a team game after all, sure one person can change the outcome some of the time, but not all the time. The match is made of of people of a lower skill level then yourself, so it has to be expected they do not know the game as well as you, that's why they are silver. You can't expect a silver ranked player to play as well as a platinum player, because if they did, they would not be in silver.

PS: I suck at this game, but the mechanics of the matching are pretty straight forward.

I understand that but when I explain to people why we can baron and how we can end the game it is tilting to get a response like "stfu noob Teemo player idiot" then they go randomly die alone in enemy territory and we lose off of it... Least if someone doesn't like my call in plat they have a valid reason as a response.

I'm not saying oh gold suck so ducking bad cuz they lost lane. Its more like you people have no game sense or initiative to make winning plays.

But I think you answered your own question in your last statement, some just don't have game sense, not saying I do, as I am still learning in S3.

But I do see this a lot in the games I play, lots of tunnel vision, myself included, it's just the nature of the skill set of some silver players.

The nature is they won't listen and are very toxic when you ask them to do anything.

People don't like being told what to do. You have no position of authority over them even if you feel that you should. Sometimes disobeying an asshole who is telling them what to do out of spite is preferable to sucking it up and allowing themselves to be drug to victory. Most likely you aren't being as nice as you think you're being when you ask them to do something.

See? You're already coming across as aggressive. You're talking in text so even something asked nicely might be misconstrued as being passive aggressive or sarcastic.

You might say something as seemingly innocent as "Hey you mind not dying right before we're about to do Baron? Thanks" - a totally justified comment to make if that happens, but what is going on in the other guy's mind is "fuckin shit this fuckin plat asshole fuckin shit singling me out god dammit fuckin god dammit I'll just go TP bot and push the wave again"

I'm just trying to tell you what these other people are probably thinking. You're not actually talking to them, you're typing to them and being too nice, not nice enough, talking too little or too often, it's all a fine line you have to walk because the people playing this game are immature children incapable of taking what might even appear to be criticism.

I try telling you what the deal is with your situation and you downvote and disregard my comment. See how it works?
