Summoner/Necromancer type of Champions

Technically you have Yorick that is kinda the closest you get to that. He's also in lore a necromancer (or at least he became one).

He summons based on his graves he created with his AA-mod Q when he last-hits, where only after making at least 3 graves then he can summon ghouls. However on the rare occasion with his R he can instantly summon 4+1 units onto the map to turn a 1v1 into a 1v6.

The reason his gameplay was changed to the way it is now where summoning is sort of still a big deal but it's more supplementary to his personal fighting power is that the old Yorick, which was entirely about summoning outside of his ulti, was deemed impossible to balance and thus he's reworked to the way he is now.

Shame tho. I really like the idea of summoning in a way that you sit back and let your minions do the dirty work.

i wish they'd re-approach the old Yorick kit, with some differences.

Other champs that may fulfill the "summoning" fantasy may also include

• Annie (her R summons a bear called Tibbers).
• Ivern (summons brush and can call in "Daisy" with his R)
• Heimerdinger. A good portion of his main gameplay style involves summoning turrets and ulti allows him to upgrade them one-off; though the second half is about him chucking shit at his opponent so I'm not sure if that still fits.
• Azir, his entire combat revolves around summoning sand puppet soldiers more or less acting as an extension of his body (not sure if in-lore those soldiers are actually self aware, though). While his theme is that of a necromancer.summoner, his gameplay implementation makes him more of an auto-attacker that has many limbs.

EDIT:

• Zyra. She is hard to describe but she's a little bit like Heimer.

Yorick, spawns ghouls, Malzahar spawns voidlings.

the game really needs a true necromancer type.

I'm not a new player, i'm just looking for a summoner/necromancer theme type of champion if that exist

Riot doesn't want to make a champ that summons stuff as his main way of combat, so there isn't anything that would fit a summoner of critters all that well.
