The new maokai ult is going to be broken in e sports

The root is the size of a lane so if there is a stand off mid/bot/top for a turret and Maokai uses his ult four things can happen

  1. the enemies walk out of lane in two directions because of its slow speed allowing the engaging team to focus who they declare fit.

  2. the enemies all walk in the same direction meaning they are all close together making aoe (Orianna ) destroy them.

  3. they have nowhere to get so they get hit by the root and cc trained

  4. its blocked (Braum) and they all _stand behind _ giving them a bad team fighting stance because they are all together or separated meaning the crucial seconds it takes to walk forward lost them the fight.

see anything wrong with my logic, any thoughts or other ideas, other outcomes, or just want to tell me a im bronze trash go right ahead and comment

its so stupid slow... and the changes forces him to no longer be viable in lane... but jungle only..

i doubt he will even get picked after the changes

There are plenty of ways around it if he isn't on a flank route though. It is so slow anyone with any kind of mobility won't be hit or really just walking if you see it coming will be enough to get out. It can be devasting as a counterengage tool or if the teamfight is already in full swing, but it isn't as unbeatable as you're making it seem. If you have a PBE account, go try it out. It is actually painfully slow moving.

I mean Nami ult works with similar width.
