Rift Herald & Trinket Key

When I searched for this subject, I found a couple posts, but no real discussion about it. Nor have I seen it addressed by Riot themselves.

Can we please be given an option to put our Eye of the Herald on a different key than our Trinkets? Not only is there the incredibly irritating and sometimes hugely game changing issue of the accidental summoning of the Herald, but it seems very out of order to take away Trinket use options once the Eye of the Herald is collected. It's like you're being punished for taking a neutral objective. It can't be difficult to separate the two functions, so unless the intent is to cause these issues, I don't see why we can't be given the option. Thank you for the consideration.
