After 2k+ Games On Jayce

Jayce Top·9/21/2017, 10:22:11 PM·1 votes·304 views

I am finally quitting this champion and lane (Top).

Every game has been the same: You win top lane, bot lane loses lane = you lose game. You lose top lane, bot lane wins lane = you win game. You win top lane, bot lane wins lane = you win game You lose top lane, bot lane loses lane = 45 minutes of "Dont worry guys we win late game" just to lose the game.

Im done with top lane, im done with jayce. I am maining Kog Maw bot lane now. Fuck this adc meta where its all about who has the better ADC. I can only teleport bot lane every 5 minutes, and even when I do, most of the time my adc just sits there under tower farming while I 1v2.

That's why I left SR at the end of S2. It was a similar situation back then and I didn't see any way it could be improved.

TT is a mess balance-wise, but at least ADCs aren't necessary there.

Lol, so true. On paper, Kog'maw looks as useless as shit, until you go full on hit. Then it's like "where is this damage coming from, nothing scales with AD." Then people reply to you with "EXACTLY!"

I mean I agree with the feeling behind this thought, but something doesn't hold up. If winning bot really did determine as many games as it feels, wouldn't top champions with global abilities be the strongest?

Wouldnt the best options for top be the likes of Shen Gangplank Galio Karthus Kled Draven Ezreal Sion Ashe Jinx Soraka?

Instead top's most winningest seem to be characters that just farm up well and win their lane Malzahar Singed Kayle MonkeyKing Pantheon at plat+ according to op.gg

and Singed Sion Yorick Rammus Swain overall from lolking

In silver, where most players fall it's a similar story (from champion.gg) Singed Yorick JarvanIV Sion Quinn

Sion and Quinn do exert pressure on other lanes with Sion's ult being near global, but that doesn't seem to explain what's happening with the lane's success.
