Is pretty much to mute everyone, and just play the game. Since if you literally say anything in all chat or on boards you will have people downvote you just because they felt personally attacked by something that you said, that is in no way toxic or offending to their main champ (often the case).

I just accepted the fact that it's impossible to reason with most people in this gaming community. My goal is to potentially move on one day and quit this game like the many others have done so already (Dyrus and NB3).

Did they add an emote-mute button? I haven't checked. The trick is to not let anything bother you and honestly, emotes are some of the most tilting things out there when the enemy spams it after landing damage.

Muting has always been the only way for me to NOT have fun in the game.

Quitting the game just because of toxicity, lmao? That's the easiest solution to fix. Players can manually mute others, play with friends, etc.

Players, however, cannot control how Riot changes the game. The reason why people are frustrated with League is because of the state of the game. League is supposed to be a competitive game, but the addition of "Runes Reforged" has cattered towered casual/new players. Which has lowered the skill gap due to overloaded runes, overpowered champions, and RNG elements.

The balance team is inept. They either don't fix blatant issues, or it takes them 4 damn patches to "fix" something which doesn't actually solve the problem. They throw in some sort of band-aid solution which causes more problems later down the road. Season 8 is a total mess.
